We had so much fun shooting Liz and Thomas’ wedding last Friday! We are always thrilled to get to shoot at the beautiful Irongate Equestrian Center .  The day was just absolute perfection as far as the weather went! Dave and I had been watching the forcast which included possible rain thinking we would want to plan out our rain shots. But when the day rolled around there wasn’t a raincloud in the sky and it was just the perfect tempurature for a wedding! Liz wore a gorgeous gown from Luxe Redux . Her gown was so stunning but really the joy in her all day was what was just making her radiate.  And her mom added touches of gold to match their wedding rings. I love when those small touches make a day so personal. Liz and her maids did the make your own option at The Flower Man. I have shot quite a few of these florals and not only do my brides always talk about how fun it is to get to have DIY flowers but they always turn out so so beautifully! I loved the shade of blue that Liz had running through all the day. This wedding was a special one for us. Because Liz and Thomas were involved in YoungLife we always feel like when we shoot YoungLife weddings we get to see family.  This day was no exception. Watching Liz and Thomas be prayed over during their wedding ceremony with all of their friends and family brought big tears to my eyes. I know I’m in the right profession when I still cry at every one!
