When I met Kassie at Stauf’s in Grandview I was so so excited to get to hear about her gorgeous wedding plans and her love story with Luis.  I felt like I was sitting with a friend chatting about what colors she was going to use and how her gown would fit. I often tell couples to act as if their meeting with a potential Columbus wedding photographer for their big day as a date because the photographer and client should “click” so that everyone has a blast on the wedding day. I can easily say that Kassie and I “had it” that morning and I was so excited when we booked her July wedding at one of my very favorite venues in Columbus; Irongate Equestrian Center.

Luis and Kassie have that kind of easy love that just makes everyone around them smile. This day was full of smiles and tears as it felt like a wedding day out of a storybook.  Kassie’s Watters Too gown was designed by Luis brother and fit her like a glove. It was really a special part of the day! Bridesmaids dresses in the gorgeous pale sage green were also by Watters Too. The florals for this wedding were provided by Fireside Floral Studio. I was drooling at the gorgeous dahlias in Kassie’s bouquet.  But my very favorite moment of this wedding had to be when the gorgeous horse drawn carriage from Carrs Belgians and Carriage. This was a complete surprise to Kassie and Luis from Kassie’s parents and it was just such a special part of their day!

Irongate is one of my very favorite venues for its obvious beauty. But in this industry something that I have grown to value over beauty is good people and the staff at Irongate has always treated myself and my clients with such kindness and excellent customer service! I highly recommend this venue!
